Need a recommendation for quality pair of sunglasses

Maui Jims- I thought it was just more yuppy/fashion BS but my optometrist and my friends Lasik doctor both recommend them. My eye doctor says they use good glass and are ground properly and that they filter some harmful wavelengths- or something like that (they're also polarized)- the clincher for me was when I put them on and my eyes just went "Ahhh". Check them out before making your decision.

I got a pair of them almost 10 years ago and it's been the best pair of sunglasses I've owned.

Smiths are the only brand i wear, i have 4+ pairs. The only time i had a problem with a new set of lenses that didn't fit, i sent them to smith and they sent me a new pair. Their warranty and customer service is great, at least in my experience.

Own 'em, wear 'em, love 'em.....

The retention is excellent, these will not fall or slip off, no matter what your outdoor activity. They work well with aviation headset seals too.

I own three pair of oakleys and I'm about fed up with thier quality. Mine are all polarized. One of my oakley SI m-frame's polarization is totaly screwed with air bubbles all over the lens making the vision blurry and I'm sure it affects the polarization. My other m-frame's polarization is starting to chip off already. Just the over all fit and finish is lacking imo too. I've either gotten them for free or for a really good deal so I'm not going to deal with any warranty stuff.

Do any of you have recommendations for sunglasses? Does anybody wear american opticals? They make the original aviators. I've heard good things about bolle, raybans, and maui jims? What do you guys recommend? I'm not getting anything over $150 though.

So, did you get any shades yet?
