Is the Nessie as good a slicer as it looks like? 1/16 inch and sharp, I like that!

After handling that one a bit, I can see a hatchet like that as a only blade in the woods. The little nessie is so cool and light as a feather and yes, it's a lazer.

Sweet - I thought you hated chopping wood ????

You should send that thing my way :)

Well Chopping wood is a chore as it was in Grade school and every since but sometimes it needs done, and big Game field dressing is a job that I often use a hatchet for. In Grade school all the kids had chores to do, The girls washed the blackboards and swept the floors and that kind of stuff. The boys had to chop wood and fill the wood box and coal bucket. For the first four years, I was the only boy in the school.:)

I was the oldest kid in the family so I always got those chores at home too.:grumpy: I also don't like doing dishes but since the wife is still working and I am retired, I get to do that to.

It will be handy collection walking sticks this summer as well.:D

VERY nice!! So, John's making hatchets now and doing kydex? Little by little that fella is gonna be doing EVERYTHING! hehe, good for you John!!
