so i need a small fixed blade for edc. I had an izula in the past and traded it for a larger knife but im missing having a smaller knife that i can keep in my pocket. Should i get another izula or is there anything else to look at. maybe the new bark river neck knives. thanks guys.

I have no experience with the izula, but I love my becker necker. I'm 6'4" so I have relatively large hands, and the handle length has been a non-issue for me. I love 1095 steel, and so that combined with the obvious price advantage the bk necker has made it a no brainer for me, I love it. It's my newest edc. Anyhow, that's my 2 cents! Good luck!

Check the makers forum and look into some of our local makers before you decide. You can get a custom made to your specs for comparable prices.
JK, Fiddleback, Koyote, Gossman etc. You won't be disappointed.
JK (Stomper) is about 45 minutes from you. I bet he can make exactly what you want and for a good price.

Bark River makes some nice pocket sized fixed blades. I particularily like the little creek (bottom two in the pic).

BTW, the ruler scale is in cm (ie 2.54 cm = 1 inch)

Kind regards
Mick

What's the rush? Check out Koyote or ML.

Koyote makes about three or four different little edc's (I've got his mini-Nessmuk on my belt right now, see pic below. :)).

I like the Last Chance by Matt at MLKnives--low profile EDC and wicked sharp edge geometry.

The JK (Stomper) EWOK is a great edc.

Scott Gossman has a couple of PSK's nearly finished and up for grabs on his forum. His PSK is a great edc also.

You could try to contact John Landi in re his PSK--another really useful edc.

Man, the options are unlimited. Try contacting Mr. Newberry; his edc is fantastic: nice sharp point, great heat treat, rides nicely in the pocket in a kydex sheath.

Dude, your options are amazing!

As others have mentioned....

Stomper
Ray Laconico
Mark Mohlwend (Charlie Ridge)
Koyote
Matt of ML knives
Andy of Fiddleback forge

ALL make outstanding small fixed blades. I own some from each of the above and would recommend them hands down.

+1 on the BRK Little Creek!

One of the best three finger fixed blades out there! Extremely sharp and sturdy!

One of the few blades I would consider owning two of...

Send a PM to mykulmorris. Ask about the Pee-Wee. He puts together a beautiful EDC knife for a very reasonable price.

I've handled them and have a custom on order.

A member here and great guy to deal with too. Order one before he realizes that he is giving knives away and starts charging what they're actually worth. ;)

How about trying out a Bravo Necker, it looks tempting and very close to the Izula.

Personally I carry either an Izula or a HEST, but the Bark River Bravo Necker looks nice.
