need a small fixed blade

I am familiar with the Becker Necker, most of the Bucks. I have also handled a few of the BRKTs, and the Tops Shango. I didn't much care for any of the BRKTs, the Shango I liked quite a bit, but the Izula was above it by just a hair, in my opinion.

The HEST also, but that is not really a necker for me.

I know they are a bit controversial, and have brought up some strong opinions, but I am really liking my H.E.S.T.s a lot. I bought them thinking primarily of the urban environment I live in but they work well in the woods too. Here are a few pics.

I've done a review on it here if you want to check it out....

I've got an Izula and a BRKT PSK. Both are really good knives, but different. The Izula is a little more "robust" and more hand-filling. The PSK is like a razor, and it's more thin and compact. You really couldnt go wrong either way. Just depends on your uses, and personal tastes.

I had a BRKT PSK- was a nice knife, a little small in the hand

I've got two other PSK's now a Landi

and a Gossman

Howdy,

I have the RAT Izula and like it, but just recently got a Bark River IMP.

I really like the Bark River IMP. It is now my favorite small fixed blade.

Besides customs how about a bomb proof stainless necker?

Fallkniven WM1 fits the bill! or if you want something more tactical the G1 could be an option.

Here is one from JK Knives. We call it the Ultralite Hunter. The Blade is 2 5/8 long, 01 steel. It is just 3/8 inch thick at the handle. Weights only about 3 oz with the pocket sheath. John makes great knives and is right here on our site.

And the red one on the bottom is heading your way tomorrow.

there so many knives to choose from i think my head is going to explode. Ive never had a bark river so maybe ill give them a try. still not a 100% though

yaknow, Scott Gossman has a PSK jr that is fantastic, and if you want something really awesome and fancy, the Charlie May Fireant or Necker are blade perfection.

aghh. i knew asking a question on here would end up having me wanting to spend like 300 bucks on knives. my wife is going to kill me.

how about a Kabar/Becker BK2? its a nice small fixed blade , very stout and inexpensive. < leaves you money to pacify the wife.
