Need a small, high quality, EDC

If you want to keep using the Sebenza as an EDC purchase an insert to replace the clip or get one of their leather pouches. I bought both and switch back and forth, Sebenza's are very user friendly knives.

I stopped carrying knives in my back pocket a while ago for pretty much the same reason. Especially when seated or even walking by my 50 year old dining room chairs. Front pocket only now. Cabela's has the jeans with a leather slab at the rear of the front pocket. I'll be surprised if that doesn't catch on, even to Dockers, etc.

C'mon guys, don't question him about why he can't carry the Sebbie with a clip. Its just a way to rationalize buying a new knife  I would recommend a high class slip joint with pearl scales.

My wife has me on a knife buying moratorium and I have found to my utter astonishment that I don't "need" more than the 40-50 knives I currently have, but I sure would like a couple of new ones ;)

Love the Kiwi, and William Henry has quite a few that would fit the bill.

But how is this: At Blade, I saw the new Seki-cut Mcusta series.

Laminated VG-10 some with damascus. Wonderful steel, great designs, and extremely fairly priced.

Sounds like a Mnandi to me, but just so you know I have leather seats in my vehicle that have never been dammaged by the large sebenza usually clipped in my front right pocket.

Spyderco ladybug. Fits on keyring. Or Victorinox excutive folder. Both are very small but useful. If you want a really handy tool toss a Leatherman in your glove compartment. They have many styles to suit anyone.

If you are looking for something in the higher priced range I would suggest looking at a Protech Godson. It is an very well made auto with many different styles. Checkout the Protech website. These are of modest size but very fast to deploy and tough as nails.

Lastly, if you don't mind carrying something a bit bigger I carry a 4" Browning 3-bladed stockman. It is very easy in the pocket with it's rosewood scales. It won't win any speed contest in the deployment department and it takes two hands to open it but it serves my purposes nicely.

Move knife to front pocket and be done with it. I stopped carrying in back pockets a long time ago to avoid tearing up car seats.

Browning Barracuda, mid-sized (4" closed) model 604. Throw the clip away
and carry it in your front pocket. Tough as nails, cheap, AUS-8A blade.
I've been abusing one for years.

That's for the suggestions. I'm thinking that a Mnandi in a pouch would be a good solution.
