After glancing at the one in the store (the mystery spyderco, I'm calling it right now) I would really like to own something along those lines. Preferably a spyderco, just because in this particular design I'd like the hole, but not necessarily. Also in this instance, preferably a lockback, I don't know why, but it's just time to have a lockback in my rotation. Gotta have g10.

Length would be in the 2-2.5 inch range.

I can't think of one with a blade that short.
But the Spyderco Manix 80mm is just 3-9/16".

Good luck,
Allen.

I just bought an Outdoor Edge Folding Caper that might fit your bill- G-10 and AUS 8 blade, lockback, double thumb studs. Well made and very cheap considering the quality materials used. Another nice feature in my mind is that it has a slender yet full sized handle.

Good luck

A.G. Russell ATS-34 pocket lockback

its perfect for all you specified.

g-10 is the only ones they got left.

These are all great folders, but nothing is catching my eye...is there an equivalent of the dodo but less hideous maybe out there?

Stylistically, I'm really digging the Terzuola Jr...anything out there like this that I can actually get my hands on?

I have a small g10 spydie lockback, its either a standard or worker variant that I got on sale somewhere. Its one of my absolute favorite folders. They show up now and then in discontinued lists or here on the forums, it would probably fit your bill exactly and may be what you saw in the shop.

good luck

BladeTech Wegner Mouse II in G10 and S30V Steel. A high quality small lockback.

That Mouse II looks about as close to what I need as possible. Really high quality materials, so the price is understandably high and it'll take me a little while, but this might end my quest....know a store I might check prices? I'm hoping it's lower than the official website. Check this little beauty out.

I just remembered that I have a G-10 Navigator that I might part with.

E-mail me if you want more info on it.

Allen.
