Need a small tactical knife. Help needed..

The Kershaw Tanto Blur is quite slim and carries really well. Plus it's black, assisted, partially serrated, and has a tanto point, so it's as 'tactical' and mall-ninja as you'll require.

Alternately, if you can find one of the older Endura 3s, they have quite a large blade (just shy of 4" with a 3.5" or so cutting edge) and are extremely light and pointy. Spray paint it black and voila - instant tactical!

what exactly is a tactical blade? are you looking for a tanto point? 3.5" isn't exactly a small knife. how about something like a spyderco endura? it's fairly slim and 3.6oz. or a paramilitary 2, it became one of my favorite knives shortly after i got it.

I'd say Spyderco Endura also, but maybe with the Wave.

I think you should get a CRKT Eros ;)

Seriously, though, I think the Mini 7 is exactly what you need. Keep it! :) Maybe have some pimp work done on it to lighten it up.

You could have someone make you a scale that enables you to lose the steel liner.

My .02 and personal favorite tactical/defensive folding knife: the CRKT Hissatsu. I love the large hand-filling handle and assisted opening blade (manual opening available too). Though, the handle thickness may exclude it from your consideration.

I like Stryker very much. It is very light and very comfortable to carry.
Carrying the knife for SD - would it be a considered a pre-meditation in US? In some countries it would. Makes sense, does not it?
