I'm getting into high end fixed blade. My first purchased was Winkler belt knife which is really great but I'm not very fond of wood handle. Now I want to get more but just dont know which brands to go with.

Seems like Strider, Busse and Miller Bros has good reputation for their hard use fixed blade.

I would like to have some advice. Which brands has the best design? steel? and fit and finish among this three?

Well Winkler does have models with Micarta handles, I've never owned one but have been thinking about their field knife. I'm rather fond of my Busse TGLB. Its built like a tank. But it is rather thick around the edge, not the best at slicing sandwiches. If you want something indestructible look on the Busse exchange for who ever is selling. I'd recommend looking for a good blade in 3V from a custom maker as well.

What do you want this knife for?

For higher end production Busse is a great option. While their currently produced knives are quite limited they have had a huge catalog. If you can't find a Busse to suit your taste you aren't looking. My more recent higher end production purchases have been Spartan blades.

Depending on your budget, you may want to look at the knives sold here on the forum. There are some great looking fixed blades made by the knife makers here made in various steels.
Go look in the Knife Makers for sale forum. I'm partial to Big Chris knives.

Big chris is an excellent suggestion. He puts out stuff in all sorts of awesome steels.

Last time a thread like this came up, someone went out and hammered their Busse into the driveway to prove it's superiority...

Busse beats all on "hard use" but know VERY WELL what you're buying.

They have like 10 different variations on each model.

Look precisely at weight, grind, thickness etc....
