I'm trying to find a way to firmly secure a knife in its kydex sheath that will make it stay in place even if the user is upside down, like in a parachute jump. One idea I'm considering is to attached a loop of webbing with snaps to the kydex, holding the handle.

How do you rivet or attach webbing to kydex? or is there an easier way to do this?

The great thing about kydex is the ability to mold it around a knife so it will secure it so it won't fall out of the sheath you should not need a keeper strap.

Hi Juramentado :) I've had good luck using Chicago Screws to fasten webbing (or leather) to my kydex sheaths.

If the kydex is extended along the handle you could simply cut two slots to pass the loop through.
