Thanks for all the help and suggestions guys. I ended up buying 2 spyderco Delica 4 plain edge knives, one for my daily staion uniform pant pocket, and another for my turnout gear. I'm still searching for a pair of side cutters or linesmen pliars. I want something fairly lite but very strong and reliable. I noticed SK Facom has a piano wire cutter in 5.7" size. The pliar combo might be better suited because it's multi purpose, but i'm worried about weight. My gear is already heavy and my pockets are full of tubular webbing, gloves, ear plugs etc. Any other recommendations for a pair of good cutters for a good price? Thanks again
