Berzerker, my Queen No.41 Linerlock arrived today-all the way from the USA to EU.
A few observations: Surprised that it has a half-stop, very good opening action 7, strong but not unpleasant, fine walk&talk then. It's even reasonably sharp!!!
Blade spine thicker than I anticipated and a broad blade too on a compact knife.
FIT&FINISH
Generally very good indeed. NO blade play at all, the liner lock is a rather curious looking toothed affair but is immensely strong and totally convincing. This, with the slipjoint spring makes for a lot of trust in its strength. Scales well hafted on the knife, matching and equal thickness, shield&pins well mounted too. There is a tiny gap but this I can well accept on a knife that has an extra liner and lock. You have to shine a powerful light to see it. My one gripe is actually fundamental: The Copperhead bolster doesn't cover the tang corner. This is farcical, why use a Copperhead if it isn't covered? No point. It's not too bad but there's still a sharp corner exposed. Don't have this on any CASE Mini Copperlock,Böker Copperhead or Hen&Rooster Canoes I have. It's annoying. WONDERING if I file down the kick will this lower the tang corner too? Probably not.
OVERALL
Extremely likeable knife, high finish and a useful size for me as a pocket knife. Those with big hands might find it too small, I don't . A bit longer than a CASE Mini Copperlock but thicker/sturdier. Well worth the 42 USD plus postage I gave for it. Annoyed about the tang edge though. The non locking Copperhead version would be a bit slimmer and lighter due to not having the linerlock. It will be seeing a good deal of use
