need advice on Tachyon

IMHO, blade too short and handles too square.

I agree that it looks very tactical, not really elegant.

To me, the elegance of a knife is very pleasing, such as the BM drop-point or even the classic utility.

Slight recurve like Darrel Ralph's Gemini is just that: sexy and elegant.

On another post on why you love knives (Blade Discussion Forum) I sort of mentioned it too.

Just my taste ..

Man this thing looks awsome! I want mine with a D2 blade and latchless red handles. Mike if your watching this would it be possible to edit the latch holes out of the program and run a few off with no latch holes at all? And what about colors? Remember those mini socoms that came in colors? And guys 200 bucks isn't that much money for a knife like this promises to be. Wait till the pricing comes out for the damascus option or dare I say Talonite

Exactly Chris. It's boxy and, I think, ugly. Darrel Ralph's Gemini is a very good example of a progressive, but still beautiful, design.

I love the way that the handles look, but it would be nice if they were more rounded off instead of rectangular. The squared of edges on the handles make it harder to rotate the handel between your fingers, and in my opinion gives a worse grip. maybe the funky patterns will take care of that , whpo knows. I really do wish the blade was longer too 4" is where its at.
