Need Advice/Opinion Removing Scratches

I’ve gotten so much great info on this site and have deep dived into abrasives and different scratches and finishes. I have a Dawson combat sword (year unknown) with scratches at the tip and I need advice or even opinions as to whether I should sand the whole tip to match or just focus on the scratches. I love the blade finish and I bought it to collect it and save it from further damage

It's very doubtful you can match the existing finish. I would leave it alone.
