It's been incredibly difficult for me to find information on a knife I have.
Sorry if this is off topic, or not supposed to be here, but the knife community
is tough for me anyway, to get information from.

Anyway, can someone direct me to an "easy" site or a person to get me an estimated value
on the knife set I have?

I cannot post attachments, so once again, this has been incredibly difficult.
My email is bob_nj@hotmail.com if anyone is interested in seeing the set.
It's two pieces in a wooden sheath.
The only markings on the set have the words "India" on the blades.

Thanks for any help

I am sorry but our rules don't allow providing values for non-paid members.
If your set is a knife and fork, it is a carving set of no great intrinsic value.
You may be able to post pictures using imgur.com

If you are interested in knives, you can join here for a small fee and ask all the values questions you want as well as have the ability to sell your items.
Just from experience, if you can't find any information on the knife then it is probably not of much value to collectors. Another strike is the India stamp...

Unless it is an old khukri, then it might have some interest from a few folks.
I will also suggest that you join up. There is Plenty of information to be found here from knives, cooking, camping, hiking, photography, shaving, survival, canning and food storage tips. You name it and I bet it had been covered.

You might try looking in some second hand shops, I know southern NJ has quite a few, especially around the Hammonton area.
Look for ones that have a few knives and ask about them, explain your situation and see if they would be willing to point you in a direction for information.

Welcome aboard and good luck!
