Need Advice

As most of you know from a post a little while ago I'm planning on doing Knives and giving them away. The plan is to video the process over a series of 6 videos and give the finished knife away to one of my viewers. I'm hoping this will help grow my YouTube channel and also give back to my loyal viewers. But the issue I'm running into is doing it correctly. There are certain guidelines you have to meet in order to give something away. Who would have thought giving something away would have so much red tape. You have to make sure your not gambling or a lottery. Raffles are out becaus that requires lots of licenses.

The plan is to have a way for my viewers to enter for the knife with every video. So that gives someone 6 chances to enter per knife. My origanial thought was to just have a code number in each video and thy email that to a email account and then I randomly draw a viewer and if the code matches then thy get the knife. But another way that has less red tape is to do a contest. But I'm stumped and need ideas. We are coming up to the deadline for when I'm going to start filming these projects and I need to sort this out. Some ideas are submit a knife design, best wins. Submit a picture that has you doing something knife related. Just need to open my mind as I'm stumped and figured you guys could help me bat around some ideas or advice.
