need advise on an anvil stand!Sorry (kind long)

Its a nice pretty day here and I got my anvil and stand outside to take a pic..This is a Peter Wright...125..173lbs The stand is made of 2x10s with four bolts throught loose holes. It is self leveling and works great.

Hey Burch-

Mine is higher than the old knuckle trick. I set it so that it's around wrist heighth. I'm hunched over in the pic because I was doing some fine detail hammering... but most of my heavy forging is done standing up straight or real close.

Hey Mr. Wulf... when am I gonna get to see some knives out of that kick-ass shop!?!? :D

I know I've got problems with actually completing knives when Nick Wheeler starts busting my balls about production :p

I like it. It's definately not something I would havr thought of. Do you ever have problems with it shifting?

If you are talking about my stand, no its never shifts. Once you move it side to side to level it. Its there. I can rock this anvil on the stand and move it whereever I need it. The 1/2 inch round rods keep it in place. I definitely like it.
