Yellowstone National Park sells All Antler types. Sheds are everywhere in the park and they collect and sell the the public. Elk, Moose, Deer, and they have all sizes. Contact is done through internet with a little searhing. I have a box of smaller half antlers and alot of Tines. Stoy

What type of antler are you looking for, did he give you anything specific? Being in Edmonton, you should get hold of some of the hunting clubs, maybe someone has some sets laying around that they haven't mounted or thrown out yet. Alberta Fish and Game, Hunting for Tomorrow or Deep lake Adventures may be able to help you out. Worse comes to worse, I have some moose and a couple large white tail that i could piece up for you if needed. What size are you looking for? You don't need to split them, just trim one side off two pieces.

Not sure from your post if you have never used antler as scales before but if you have maybe it will help others , you need to be aware it can/will shrink and move. the last elk antler I cut for scales was stored indoors for 2-3 years since found. The skinner I made for a friend the scales shrunk at least 1/32 all around, I watched the heat while cutting sanding ect sealed them also waxed and they still shrunk when I though it was a dry and cured antler. so just be aware and I would say especially if you are having it shipped in to cut the scales oversize and let them dry/acclimate to your local before installing on the knife.
