Hello Friends,
I didn't see a praying hands smiley to mark this thread with, but....
If ANY of you smiths in Hawaii have any anvil(s), in any size or condition whatsoever, you don't use much and would consider selling/renting/loaning to our high school it would be DEARLY appreciated!
For that matter, anyone anywhere in the US of A who might have one under the 70lb range that could be affordably shipped over...maybe you could come to our rescue?!
Our modest school has a larger than normal sophomore class this year of 31 students. The class gets split into two groups for art classes. I have one group taking forge three times a week for 8 weeks, while the other half is exploring another art with another teacher. Then we flip groups and do it all again.
I usually have 8-10 students at a time, this year I have 15-16. I'm feverishly building two more forges, but am coming up short when it comes to anvils.
THANKS soooooo much for your consideration.
