Hey everyone,

I've got 3 billets that I need forged down into barstock. They're 15N20 and 1085, 4 pieces of 1/16" 15N20 and 1 piece of 1/4" 1085 per layer, a total of 7 layers with the 15N20 on the outside. The billets are already prepped, stacked, and welded with rebar handles welded on. I was going to forge them by hand on my Gladiator (I don't have a press / power hammer) but I've got a few smaller orders to finish and I'm about to start a summer class and I just don't have time before fall semester starts.
The billets are 6" x 1.5" x 1.75" and the final stock should be at least 36" (approx., may be longer) x 1.25" x 1/4". If it's easier for you to stack the three billets and make one long bar and cut it into thirds, I don't mind more layers. ;)
If anyone is interested, please let me know. They are going to be used for Tai Chi swords so I really need the welding to be solid. I'm not in a rush to get them done, but if I could be working with the stock by mid to late July that would be spectacular. I live in southwest Michigan, so the closer the better for shipping. I'll pay to have them shipped both ways. If you have a press or power hammer and are interested, shoot me a message and we can talk price.
Thanks!

Alex
