Need blade help on a Lone Wolf T3

Recently got a "good deal" on a Lone Wolf T3 folder, but just noticed that the very tip is slightly bent and the blade could use a re-coating/refinishing to blacken (or maybe a bead blast?), along with a good sharpening. Who does this kind of work that is not suffering a huge backlog, does good work, has a solid reputation and won't charge me enough that I should just go buy another knife?
(don't want much, huh?:D )

Lone Wolf was bought by Benchmade, and they honor the warranty for Lone Wolf knives. Contact Benchmade and they'll take care of you.

could you post a pic of the tip ?

i doubt they'll change the blade as the T line is long discontinued. straightening can be tricky ...

I'll see if I can, the more I think about this, the more I think I may just send it in to Benchmade, see what they'll do, then flog it on E-Bay and see if I can get close to what I paid for it back out of it. :dispirited:

How bent and how much of the tip? I dropped a Kershaw and kinda rolled the tip over a bit, I straightened it out in about 20 passes on a diamond stone.

Actually, Benchmade said they would look at it and see what they could do, so I'm going to try them first (geeze, wish me luck!)
