Need brownie advise from your wives, mothers, granny's and more please

Honey, all you need is a 9' x 9' x 2' aluminum pan , just grease it with vegetable oil and flour the pan well.:)

The size of the pan makes a difference. I remember going from what was probably 9x9" to 8x12, and found it tasted different. The bigger pan made thinner brownies and they were more thoroughly cooked, drier and less chewy. I preferred the thick chewy brownies cooked in the smaller pan.

9x9 is 81 square inches and 8x12 is 96 -- and that made a big difference in taste. (I'm not sure about the pan sizes, though; there might have been more difference than that.) You might be able to compensate for the bigger pan by adjusting cooking time, but I suspect you'll never be able to make thinner brownies taste the same as thicker ones.

Pans are cheap; why don't you try different sizes.

Hehe, thnx for the advise. I don't realy care about the pricing of the pans. The problem is, i can't buy those shape off pans here...
It seems they just don't make those sort of pans. That's why i need some online store willing to ship here, or one of you willing to buy/ship one to me. ( yes i'll pay off course :D )

P.s. i got my first batch in the oven as i'm writing this, after Andrews Taylor's recepie :) Looks jumy jumy

Don't you get Little Debbie snack cakes over in the Netherlands? I've got 2 unopened boxes of brownies stashed right now. Unfortunatly, a little mouse found the last batch, a real mouse too. Good luck with those you made!:)

Nope, we don't get those here :(

However, i must say :D
I found a pan. not perfect ( bit to low ) and used Andrew's recepie and Vóila..Brownies

Damn they are nice. But they are a mouth full. Damn do they fill....
But verry tatsy indeed. Thanks again. This is the second recepie i got that is perfect :) 9 the other one is with maple syrup :) , but we also don't get that here..., thank god my neigbours go to Canada often :) )

I have to ask you, reading your bio Shaggy, I see you are in the Dentistry field. What on earth can rot anybodies teeth out there if you don't have bakery goods available at all times and making a trip into Canada?;)
