While it might have standardized components, I don't follow that logic. I've seen non-standard, proprietary, and goofy stuff on practically every brand of computer including Apple, IBM, Dell, Packard Bell... and trust me those guys all made plenty of business computers and servers over the years.Given the sheer number of servers and business computers that Lenovo offers, I think it's a safe bet that they use standard PSUs and motherboards.
Dell was famous for using power supplies with non-standard pin outs. Dell uses a lot of custom air vents and exhaust hoods in their computers too, making it difficult to replace their motherboard with another. I had an IBM with a slot on the motherboard for adding a graphic card, although you couldn't actually fit one in the case. I've got a Packard-Bell upstairs that needs more memory, but it can't be upgraded because it's some bizarre and non-standard memory format. I think it's eMachines, and maybe other brands too, that I've seen recently with non-standard front panel connectors.
