Need Handle and Guard on Blade

My Daughter bought me a damascus bowie type knife blade so I could start a new hobbie as a ? I have mechanical skills equal to those of an ape!. Could some one steer me in the right direction where I may find someone willing to put a handle and guard on my gift blade?:p
 
If you are interesting in trying to assemble it yourself, you could get a guard and handle matterial from someplace like Koval Knives. It's really not that difficult to put one together like a kit.

If you open the link, choose catalog at the left, then you can select a guard, next look for some handle material, i.e. wood, micarta, stabalized wood, etc. They also sell epoxy, solders, rivets, etc to attach the guard and handle. Who knows, maybe you will really end up with a new hobby. Good luck!
 
Check your local yellow pages for knifemaker's or knife guild to find someone to finish it for you. Best I can think of
