need help a scope for 10/22

Check out nikon, they have some lower end models that are real nice for in your price range, usually at like Dick's Sporting Goods, or the like. Just like a 3-9x42

You're looking to spend no more than $130 for a scope that will work well on your 10/22, is that what I'm reading?

Bushnell makes a .22 Rimfire scope, 3-9X32, for around $45.
I prefer the BSA Sweet 22. 3-9X40, matte finish, AO. Around $70.

well i dont see how this is related to RAT cutlery. anyway what kind of optic are you looking for? traditional scope, red dot? i think weaver makes some nice .22 cal scopes. and you can get a BSA red dot for around $20-$30 dollars.

First off what kinda you looking for red dot, non-telescoping, telescoping??

That being said I would look into a 4x non-telescoping

Yeah that was my guess just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed a new era of rifle scopes.

Nikon is more expensive but they are very clear. I have one on my 20 gage shotgun for a slug gun and it works awesome.

tasco 2.5x10x42 varmit mildot. got 4 of them on my rimfires. wife's marlin 880sq,
cz 452 varmit 17hmr, marlin stainless laminate 17hmr, and my 10/22.
have had them for over 9 years now. paid 79.99 canadain.

Nikon Prostaff 4x is an awesome rimfire scope. I have one on my 10/22 and love it. It's right around 120$

I would stay away from the Tasco scopes, I had one and it did not hold zero at all.
i would agree if he was talking about centerfires. mine all have luepolds on them. but on rimfires it's a different story, no recoil. my tasco's have lasted
9 years so far, without any problems what so ever. and when we go gogher
shooting in july, we shoot up to a thousand round's a day. but there are a lot
more scopes to choose from nowaday's. (under a hundred buck's).

IMHO, why would you want a 3-9 power scope on a gun with an effective range of 75 yards? For a sweet little Ruger, you'd want a sweet little 4 power fixed.

we shoot over one hundred yard's, but your right there's some nice fixed powers too.

I'd put a Nikon Prostaff 4x on it. You can find them for around $85 if you hunt around.
