need help a scope for 10/22

a 10/22 should be able to put all ten rounds inside a business card at 100 yards with no problem, a 3-9 will help a bit, it's all preference, and what you intend to use it for.

I would stay away from the Tasco scopes, I had one and it did not hold zero at all.

I have an old beat up Tasco that I got off a friend's Winchester 300 mag. Held up fine on his rifle, and now 15 years after I got it from him, it still shoots fine.

But there are better scopes, for the money.

You're looking to spend no more than $130 for a scope that will work well on your 10/22, is that what I'm reading?

Bushnell makes a .22 Rimfire scope, 3-9X32, for around $45.
I prefer the BSA Sweet 22. 3-9X40, matte finish, AO. Around $70.

+1 on that I have two Bushnell's 3-9x32 on 10/22's and they work just fine Ive never seen a reason to spend much more on a .22. On a higher caliber definitely spend up to your price limit.

Needed some advice for glass on my marlin 81ts and BAM this thread appears! Awesome :)

Heard Barska optics are pretty well built for the money for rimfires, anyone have an opinion?

The older Tascos were great scopes for the money. Growing up, Leupold etc. were not an option and the older Tascos held up fine. The new ones in the blister pack at the big box stores now are junk.
