NEED HELP- Boker AF-FD

Hello guys, I need some info. I think I have found the perfect knife for me, and I want to know if they've been discontinued. I can't find much info on them but they're amazing.

Yeah, they have been discontinued for a while now.. which is a shame.

If you are looking for similar knives, Darrel Ralph makes knives that are pretty similar but expensive.

On the cheaper side of things, CRKT has the M16/M21 line

Yes, they have been discontinued in that format. They are now 440C and called the Escrima Dagger. You can find the Escrima Dagger on auction sites and you can google it. I will post a picture of mine when I get home. (I have the original Boker AFD Dagger which is also S60V, the handle is different from the AF-FD though.)

Discontinued, but the afd's are still out there. I know one online dealer, a good one well liked here on bladeforums, in texas who has them listed in stock. A google search will help you find the dealer.

I have an afd and an escrima folder. Both are quite nice. I prefer the afd though. It is a big knife. Its bulky but pocket carries easy enough. it reeks of badarse. It will frighten some folks.

Anyone know about it? Also, does this count as a "switchblade", or is it just a button assist?

Yes, that knife is an automatic. (aka "swithblade") Read the add....(sorry to state the obvious....)
