Need help buying my next knife!

If you want to try another Para 3 from DLT, perhaps their exclusive may work. I'm just guessing that, as their exclusive, they may check it more before selling it.

As for Amazon, I have bought some Spyderco on Amazon. However, I verified on the Spyderco site that the seller was listed as an official dealer.

Buy one here second hand for a better price and you can confirm no lock stick. The exchange here is excellent and full of great deals.

First off I appreciate the replies.
This fascinates me considering everyone I touch has lock stick! Is there anymore you can hypothesize here? Did I just get bad luck? Am Somehow opening compression locks wrong to induce lock stick?
I had a Sage w comp lock and it was a nightmare. Tried to break it in and failed.
I have a PM2, Para3 and Caribbean and they are fine. Still, i will never buy a comp lock knife again. Three is enough.

The compression lock is ok, but not my favorite. To be honest, I like liner locks, the caged ball bearing lock the Spyderco Manix 2 uses, and the Demko shark lock. I don't like knives with thumbstuds, or Benchmade, so no axis lock for me. Frame locks are ok, button locks too.

I've found the sometimes having the stop pin screws too tight can cause lock stick on the comp lock. Odd but something I noted on the DLT Yojimbo 2 Cruwear. I couldn't even get the screws out with a screwdriver they were in there so tight. I had to use a drill and Wiha bit to remove them. Once I did the scale swap and hand tightened, no stick.

Why no benchmade? I'm currently looking at the blade hq exclusive 940 to match my normal 940 perhaps!
