Need help choosing a gift knife.

Yea i was leaning towards something in s30v and thought about a pm2. Im worried he would break the tip though lol. Considering a new style zt 550 but not sure if it would be too big or not.

I'd suggest a Benchmade 940. Strong tip, S30v, lightweight and compact for a 3.5" blade IMO. Plus if he doesn't like sharpening, the Lifesharp program is decent. It has pretty tame styling so it could arguably work as a gentlemen's folder for church.

Also, check out Al Mar knives, specifically the SERE. Simple design, quality build, VG-10 steel...

Id also recommend a ZT. I only have a 350SW and a 200 at the moment but will be getting a 30X soon, you really cant go wrong with ZT. I would personally go with the 350 or 300 over the 200 just because I like a slimmer knife, A/O, and love how long S30V keeps its edge. BUT S30V is also pretty hard to sharpen if you are not used to it. But like others have said Kershaw/ZT has amazing knives for the price. If you do decide to go with a Kershaw/ZT I would also recommend buying through KershawGuy. He is a great person to work with and has great prices and ships very fast. I am sure he will love whatever knife you choose. Good Luck!
