Need help choosing an edc knife!

My personal advice, get a delica/endura and call it a day. I never was able to use $100+ knives like I wanted to. Just too much of an investment for me. And I've never needed any super steels. Aus 8, vg 10 etc are plenty good enough for non-professional use. I've been all over the spectrum of blades and I've pretty much decided that I prefer utility blades over fancy blades. If I were you, I'd get a Delica and a Endura, a flashlight, and a victorinox cadet:) all for around $200- much better than just one fancy knife, but that's just me.

Take a look at the Hogue 3.5" or 4.0" EX folders. Made in the USA with 154CM steel and polished edges. Some videos are on youtube.

The reason I mentioned it is because that's what I'm probably going to get soon.

The Caly 3.5 has been my preferred EDC now for well over a year.....and I have many knives in my collection to choose from. The blade to handle ratio is such that it takes up less room in the pocket than other comparable knives, yet it has a full 3 inches of working blade length. The full, flat ground VG-10 blade holds a great edge, is relatively easy to sharpen, and effectively resists rust. As well the handle design is super comfortable. I've yet to come across a task, from working in the garden to slicing cardboard, that it can't handle with ease. I highly recommend this knife. At a cost of less than $120 shipped I consider the price a steal !

At some point I intend to buy the carbon fiber/ zdp variant.

The Para2, Native 5 and the Caly 3 are the ones I EDC the most, in that order. I also really like my one and only benchmade which is a H&K 14205 and my Emerson CQC7. I love the ZT0550 but it is much heavier and bulkier in the pocket than all of the above.
