Need help choosing and edc.

out of the four mentioned i would probly get the 560 or 21, but thats just me with looks and such since i havent owned the other 2. also i dont know how big of a knife you want, but the 560 is pretty big with a 3.75 blade i believe, but i do love it. Materials is going to vary with each, but for me i like titanium and g10 the best probly. I like how the titanium looks and wears over time, also most titanium is framelock which i like, g10 has good grip and feels sturdy and nice. Have you looked around at other knives? Theres a lot out there!

Size isn't a huge deal I just don't want to be pulling out a folder like Crocodile Dundee. I have looked around a lot on here and the ones I listed seemed to get good praise and I think I would like them quite a bit. I'm not seeing much love for the benchmade in this thread, but I have in others. I am appreciating the feedback so far.

I have all the knives you ve mentioned. I carry the pm2 more than all the others combined. The zt 560 is a fine knife but too big for my routine carry. The wh is a nice knife, but I don t feel it is as sturdy as I would like. The sebenza is an excellent knife but I don t carry it(too expensive?). The bm 710 with m390 is also in my carry rotation and would be my second choice out of your list. For me, the pm2 has the best ergonomics of any of the knives in your list and the price makes it a steal. Nice size, light weight, and possibly the best lockup system of the bunch. Sonny Daze and Power Noodle are right.

I'm leaning towards the pm2 to start. That will allow me to get my HDS light sooner. Is there a version of the pm2 without the brown handle and/or with m390. I've heard of it but haven't really been able to find it. It's not a big deal, but wanted to ask before I order.

there are quite a few different pm2's. There are also a lot of different scales you can buy for it. alot of it is trial and error also, i have bought and traded alot looking for the "perfect" edc. There have been some knives i bought and read a lot about how great they were but just werent for me, and others i get that i dont think i will like that much but end up really enjoy using them

Message sent. Slight flick and it opens smoothly, pull the lock and it will swing free to close, no wrist action required.

Well, I decided to start with NJBillK's 710-1401. He made an offer I couldn't refuse. Really happy with the purchase, it is a great knife. Next I think I will be deciding between the ZT and the PM2. That's a story for another time however. Thanks for the guidance and insight, I look forward to my membership here and to all the knives I hope to try.
