Hi All,

I'd like to discuss my options for my higher-end knife purchase coming soon.

I've got three i'm considering, not in order of preference:

1.) Chris Reeve Mnandi

2.) Chris Reeve Ti-Lock

3.) William Henry B12 Atlas ($450 version with blue anodized Ti)

I've refined my tastes most recently and appreciate a lightweight blade with a thin stock for my frequent slicing chores. I do not need a thick blade (0.15" thick or more) as it only hinders performance in my tasks. I also do not need the world's strongest lock. I just need something that will keep the blade open as i cut, and all three are on equal footing by that standard. That being said, i'm a little torn between these three.

Can anyone share some extra info i may have missed about the three? I try to be sensitive to market value and the William Henry is particularly attractive to me in this regard because it is less of a hit these days than the CRK's. The William Henry is also limited to 888 pieces. However, i cannot help but be attracted to the Mnandi by its time-tested reliability and refinement as a utilitarian form. Lastly, is the ti-lock, which offers me simplicity in maintenance, having the lock completely separate from the handle. These are just one point for each of them, not mentioning that i already liked each of their designs before coming to these inferences.

Can anyone help me choose between the three? I'd appreciate information, particularly from the people who own or have handled any of these three.

Vit
