A blue back spacer is not touched. A blue thumb stud is constantly being rubbed by your thumb and clothing

I once purchased blue Anodized Wilkins scales for my BM Mini-grip and the blue never came of the aluminum scales and I handled it all the time. Does the Anodized coating just not adhere to titanium as well as it does aluminum?

The anodizing of aluminum involves a dye that soaks into a porous surface. The anodizing of titanium involves modifying the surface matrix of the Ti so it refracts light differently. The colour does not rub off titanium, what happens is that the surface is returned to a smooth surface by wear, thus losing the property of changing the colour of the reflected light. All though they are both called "anodizing", the process is very different.
