I am only looking at these two in this price range to get me started on flippers, LIONG MAH WARRIOR 1, or the BROUS BLADES MINI DIVISION.

Both around the $300-$350 range. I prefer the looks and steel on the Liong Mah Warrior, but I like quality and I am not sure about it compared to the Brous Mini Division.

Can anyone with any experience in preferably both give me some input on which you prefer the most and why?

I thank you all in advance!

I work in a blade friendly office, and I wouldn't really use it for hard tasks, just a nice overall EDC flipper.

Also take a look at the Kershaw Skyline, Chill and the Oso-Sweet (if you want an A/O flipper).

I'd go with the Warrior 1 without question. It's lighter, more EDC sized, and incredibly high quality. Check out this Jim Skelton video if you can stand him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0KGVkhuRwg

I don't own the Mini Division, but I do own a Brous Bionic 2.0 and a Warrior 1, and I've handled some other Brous knives. The Warrior 1 exceeds the quality of any Brous I've handled.

Here are photos of my Warrior 1: http://imgur.com/a/cfzPS

Here is a mini writeup on it with more pictures: http://www.reddit.com/r/knifeclub/comments/3541j4/liong_mah_warrior_one_built_by_reate_knives/

I have not been incredibly impressed with brous knives. And while I feel the warrior one is a bit over budget for what it is I still feel its a better knife. If its between those two and those two only then I would choose the warrior.

What about Reate and their new Liong Mah influenced (designed?) Knife?

Of those two, brous has the made in USA tag in it's favor, but I'd probably take the Reate (liong mah) because I personally just like s35v alot more then D2, especially in a rather plain ≥$300 knife...

Personally at that price range though, I would either consider a plain small sebenza http://www.bladehq.com/item--Chris-Reeve-Knives--3647, although it is smaller and isn't a flipper it is arguably the best folder ever made (according to many). And still s35v steel.

or for a flipper I would absolutely get the the Wilson Tactical RRX (made in USA by Fox knives based out of Italy) because ELMAX is my favorite "super steel" so far, great all around steel... And I just like style and design better.

Or I would consider the Steadman Bastion, as it is a lot of knife (3.75" in s35v) for the price... And again, I prefer the design.

the liong mah warrior is made reate. That new one that is floating around I dont think has been released yet so no one can really speak to it.

I've had a lot of nice folders, and my favorite so far is my Southard AVO mid-tech.

For just slightly more you could grab a David Mosier crossfire midtech. It's a beauty of a knife. Solid in all directions but incredibly smooth and fires like a rocket. CPM 154 steel is nice and takes a super fine edge and is pretty easy to Sharpen. In my book it's just as high quality as a sebenza and it's different, not everyone is carrying it.
