All I have left to do on my knives is etch my name, finish my handles and sharpen. Problem is I do not have an etcher. I do have the stencils and was wondering if anyone would be willing to etch them for me and ship them back.

My email is chefsunquist at gmail.com Hopefully we can work something out. I am in a bit of a hurry to get at least one of these knives to my dad as close to Father's day as possible. If I make arrangements fast enough I can have them in the mail by morning.

Thanks,
Eric

I can pantograph engrave it for you, but I'm pretty busy.

If you have a little bit of soldering skill, it would be pretty easy to build an etcher. There's really only two components that make it work, the rest is putting it together and a bit of soldering.

Or you could write what you want on it, and in extra fine sharpie, then put it in a bath of white vinegar over night , wipe it off tomarrow and it'll be etched in. It's how I mark mine. here's some examples.now this will produce the name elevated from the steel not sunken in. unless you darken everything except the name (a negative to just writing on it.)
