Need help finding a folder!

Manix 2 is indeed very good for heavy use (esp as you'll use a prybar when required) and indeed only a few dollars out of budget.

yeah, the Manix 2 was exactly what I was thinking when reading the criteria, just a hair out of the price range, but it's such a beefy tank that it would be perfect.

I agree with the others on the Manix. You might also consider an Endura. It's a tough knife and can be had for about 50 bucks. It does have frn handles though unless you want to get a G10 which will run closer to the Manix price.

It's good to know that no kittens were harmed in the making of this thread. BTW, the CC pry bars are excellent. I have a mini on my key chain and it has saved many a knife blade. Good look with your purchase.

The BM 551 Grip is a great 3.4" AXIS Lock drop point - MSRP $90. Of course, if you really like cats... and show tunes... perhaps the 556-Pink is for you...

Sadly, the infamous Buck 110, $27 at Wally World, is a 3.75"-er - but what a knife. A bit harder to find - but a 3" version of the 110 - is the 112 - and my 112fg is a keeper (MSRP $63 - $73 with finger grooves. I bought mine off Evil-Bay for ~$46 delivered.). The 110/112 come with a belt mounted leather sheath.

No kittens died on Christmas Eve? Hmmm, that explains the closed Chineese restaurunts... no 'Kung Pao Meow'!

Happy New Year!

PS My buddy, Elmer, was sitting here reading this - boy is he hacked! My wife and I have seven inside cats... or, rather, there are seven cats here who 'permit' us to be their 'staff'! I don't like show tunes, either.
