Need help finding fixed blade for camping

Every one of them other than the wood handle.

yah. it actually really irks me that the 3G Fallknivens aren't full-width on the tang. and it also irks me that i can't buy a 3G blank.

otherwise i'd get a 3G F1 and rehandle it.
that can be remedied by buying one of Fallkniven's F1 blanks and having your own handle for it made.

bingo.

that's how i'd do it.

oh wait. that's how i AM doing it (pinching pennies for a big FK purchase in the not-to-distant future)

I really like the look of the BHK bushcrafter, I will also look at them. I really suggest that you check out ML knives, he has alot of period looking pieces and they are great users by his customers. He makes a really cool kephardt knife and a bushcraft knive, all for 95 through 150 dollars. check out the website.

anyone know when a new batch of gunnys will be released?

Gunny is a very good choice. I have Bravo 1 and absolutely love it. Makes me want to get more barkies. Was a bit concerned with the thickness of Bravo 1, but found that with convex it works very good.
You might want to get rid of the ramp or find a rampless gunny. KSF has some, with wood handles, but I would go for micarta or G10, if you plan to use it hard and abuse it. See if you can find Maroon Micarta, it looks somewhat like wood and is much stronger.

im not too hard on my knives so i am planning on going with wood, but i want a really nice looking handle. the paduk on knivesshipfree is my favorite right now, but its nothing too special. can knivesshipfree ground off the ramp for you?
