Need help finding used Beckers

post in the exchange in the wanted section this exact message ;)
 
I have placed in the Exchange. But I have not found anyone yet. Just figured I would put in here to see if I could find someone willing to get rid of some spare blades. :D

I checked eBay and didn't see anything promising. I understand they're not used for like $10-20, but they're extremely reasonably priced for new.

I understand that they are price very well for great knives but I do not have the cash right now and would like to finish my collection with the BK7 and BK11. I am getting rid of all my other knives so that I can complete my set. :(
The only knives that I will have are the BK's. :D
 
I'd imagine that due to the extra heavy duty nature of the Beckers that they don't really become "used" until they are totally trashed. The BK3 that was used to field dress a Dodge Omni comes to mind as what a used Becker looks like.

You'll see a used one on ebay every now and then. surprisingly they don't sell for that much less.

There are a few different ways to find used becker knives:

-Ebay
- Knife Forums (Classifieds, Exchange, For Sale, For Trade)
- Amazon

I am curious why you would want to buy a used Becker? Buying them new is almost the same price. Also, if you are having trouble locating them it's because not many people get rid of theirs because they are such good knives :)

well, having got a new vault Patrol Machete, i have a lightly loved user ... exchange time soon enough. spare time. all that ;)

brutes? i'll never sell those. hah.

crewmans? just wait...

egress tools? the egress is over THERE. notice the lovely plumage.

possibly because there are certain models and variants you can't buy new from KaBar as they are no longer made, or super limited in quantity? like, once those SanMai BK11s and S30V BK77s are sold, that's it, they're gone. MAYBE they could bring back the SanMai, but don't count on it. they MIGHT do specialty runs if they are bored for our amusement, but don't count on that either.
 
I have found someone who wants to trade for all my other knives. So now I can get my last two knives the BK7 and BK11 will soon be mine. :D
 
Since I have been lurking around here, not very long.
I have seen a BK1, BK4, BK10 come and go.
I was just given the chance to purchase a BK6, by a fellow member, sadly I could not get the funds together. By the way thanks for the chance.
My point is be patient, they will come.

This is a very impressive collection. The knife nut in me would love to have the kind of money to spend on getting everyone of these fine blades. But I am a very poor man with a family on a very small budget and can not purchase a stock pile of blades. That is why I have chosen the blades that I have chosen. With these blades I will be able to use and cherish them when out camping and prepping or if the SHTF. After this I will not be buying blades for a long, long, long, time. Do not have the money for it. Have to take care of family first. Maybe if I am lucky I can request some for Christmas and birthdays. :D

You made an excellent choice of where to spend your limited knife budget. You'll use and enjoy the ones you have and won't have to agonize over which one to take. You seem like a responsible guy. Hope you get a few as gifts. :thumbup:
