Need Help! First rifle advice

JV, you can PM me if you want to avoid going off topic here, but what's your beef with CTD? Just curious, cause I've always had good experiences with them.
 
Go with a Tier 1 manufacturer. If you try to cut corners and buy from some outfit that's new to the game, there's a good chance you'll have heartache. I had Bushmasters and sold 'em. Since then, I've only bought Colts and I've traded into a LWRC piston gun. Go for a Colt 6920 and never look back. They can be found NIB at good prices on Gunbroker. Buy right, cry once.
 
I work part time at a large gun dealer/wholesale supply shop. EVERYONE raised prices sky high in early Nov. Supply got so scarce that we were waiting 5 or 6 months to get parts in...........
