Need help - how to securely carry small Sebenza in my front pocket?

Congrats on the RoF Sebenza!

I have an extra William Henry leather pouch with clip if you are interested.

You can do like I do sometimes, I took a 2' piece of para cord and made a loop, then I slide the clip over the cord, put it in the sheath and loop the whole thing through the belt loop.

I also have a lanyard on the knife so all I have to do is grab the lanyard and pull, the knife comes out of the sheath and off the para cord.

I personally just carry it in my jeans.

Probably the most secure way to carry it is in a skinth p3. The knife can be clipped to one of its pockets and the p3 is overall big enough not to fall out of your pocket. It also isn't as slippery as a leather sheath.
Additionally you have two more pockets for other stuff like keys, flashlight,...

First of all, beautiful knife! I carry my knives in a velvet slip case (only 1.50$ at gpknives!) the velvet will not slip out of your pocket, it "sticks" to most any material.

WOW!!!! DROOL!! GASP!!:eek: Now that's a mighty fine knife to carry in your front pocket!!:p:p

I have carried a Sebenza and other knives in a pouch within the pocket... never had a problem.

Just beware of the pizza boxes! :D

In Levis I carry my thin wallet in my front right pocket and a large or small sebenza in a sheath. I put the wallet on the right, it keeps the sheathed knife upright and in place. I only wear slacks with a "coin pocket" in the right front and those hold my sebenzas in place. I just bought a couple pairs of shorts and took them to a tailor to add coin pockets in them for knife carry. I'm very pleased with how that turned out.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. As nice as some of the suggestions are I may stick to the pouch which is starting to develop a nice patina and show an outline of the knife. I've seen a post in the past where the sebenza was embossed onto the beautifully patina'd pouch. I would want that look as well.

The coin pocket may is a good idea. The problem is having the wife sew them on all my pants and shorts. I may have to learn how to use that sewing machine, LOL....

I have one small inlaid 21 (clip removed) & wanted the same type of look on the leather pouch you're describing, but don't have the patience to wait....

So, I took the knife, stuck it in the pouch, and put the whole thing into a bag used to vacuum seal food. I left it there for 2 days in the vacuum sealed bag & upon removal the sheath was perfectly formed to the knife. It lost some of its form over the next few days, but still looks great.

You can get that look by wet molding the sheath. Dunk the sheath into warm water then put the knife in it. Use something smooth to form the sheath to the knife. Carefully remove the knife and let the sheath dry. It'll retain the memory of the knife and have positive retention. A quick cleaning and the sebenza will be no worse for wear, won't hurt it a bit.

Sweaty hands work as well.

my small seb (edc) sheath is very dark and tightly fits the seb perfectly, I have to yank the lanyard to get it.
