And I need help identifing a make of car that I saw today. It has four tires, four doors, a hood, a trunk, and it was blue.

I'm afraid, Mr. Clark, that you're going to have to be a bit more detailed in your description. In fact, as generic as this knife sounds, you're probably going to have to get a picture up.

Since you said it had 7 holes on each handle than it is obviously 9" open. Is it a manilla style or batangas style latch? What are the pins made of?

I can't think of a bali right off that has the tang stamped "440 stainless steel" but it you can give us some more info (or find a pic of one that has similarities or a pic of the exact bali) than we could probably figure it out, Susan and Chuck have lots of experience of with different styles and models of balisongs (I am sure others of you have experience also, it's just that they are the most well known).

I have a shippment coming in (hopefully) today, where one of the knives is a cheap china import. It has a 440 clip blade w/ chrome skeleton handles, but I'll have to get back to you on that, since it could be somewhere over the Atlantic by now.

Yeah I was afraid my description would make it impossible to identify. Anyway thepins appear to be more of rivets than anything else.

it sounds like a rostfrei or china balisong, from the description

Didn't VALOR tang stamp their knives 440 stainless steel? then again if it was VALOR maybe he woudl have noted it as such.. looks liek a charming china.

A lot of Valors say 440 Stainless Steel on them, yes. But, they also have the Valor mark on 'em. Now, Valor didn't make their own stuff. It would not surprise me if the same Asian compay that made Valor's stuff just left the Valor stamp off and sold the same stuff to others.
