Need Help Identifying Chris Reeve knife

See if you can get it for $300-350. Looks like the slabs were intentionally modded for a distressed look. CRK may or may not touch the knife. That’s the gamble, and you won’t know until you talk to CRK. For the knife only, I’d be willing to pay $300 tops in that condition. Inform your pawn shop guy to compare apples to apples based on the condition of the knife. That isn’t a $500 CRK.
Forgot to ask, is it a large or small ?

Not going to argue. Regardless of your opinion, if CRK still does spa service on ano‘d knives, it will come back brand new. This is a excellent service many can attest to. Insingos sell fairly fast for dealers as well as on the secondary, with sebenza insingos being pretty rare nowadays. So realistically the only way to get an insingo blade is through a inkosi direct order, with the current wait time being 2 years.

It’s large.
 
Nothing wrong with that. I think some of the best looking CRKs are on the "Well Worn" thread.

Haggle and ask what was the price based on, a quick online search. The box/paperwork adds around $100 to the value.
BS him a bit and I’ll bet he will settle for less. I’d bring cash, less the layaway money and throw it on the table. Cash is king.

Any idea what steel the blade is?
 
Pass at that price... too many questions.... Insingos are out there. Better to pay up for a clean one , than one with questions....
