Hello all, I need help IDing a pawnshop find I haven't purchased yet. It appears to be a "Rifleman's" style of knife that I see a lot of contemporary markers making as a traditional knife. It appears to be old just not 100% sure. It has a stag handle and metal guard. They didn't allow pictures so I had to draw it from memory. The proof or makers mark looks like "* DC *" any help you can give would be great!
Thanks
Ryan

Not if you know the tang stamp. With that and his drawing, if you know the stamp that's what will ID the maker and knife.

Unless it's a fake replica of an old knife. Which I believe is what the OP is asking.

I really appreciate everyone's attempting to help! I decided against it since it is out of my wheelhouse. Thanks again!
