So does anyone know why I went back to registered?

When I upgraded from Gold to Platinum I had a few months left on the Gold... I though when the Platinim ran out I just went back to gold for a while

Nah, they prorate the Gold membership, adding a few months to your Platinum

Apparently it requires the same email address that I used to sign up for the BladeForums originally. I seldom use that old address & didn't recall using it then. I was trying to upgrade with a more recent address, the idea dawned to see if it'd take the older one, and when I tried it that way, it did.
