So I ordered a custom knife from a store in Colorado. I live in San Diego. It was delivered to the post office on 9 May, and the store gave me the tracking # and told me it was insured. According to tracking, and this daily USPS notification of deliveries we get via email, it was supposed to be delivered Friday (today). But tracking now says it is still in Denver.

I was thinking to give it until Monday, and then go to the local PO and see what's up.

Does anyone have a better idea?

Thanks.

Anytime that happens to me I label my package as missing, that way in their system it puts a label on the tracking and they make an added effort to get it delivered to you if it’s still in transit

I would just continue to watch. Seems too early to do more than that.USPS says to contact themafter 5 days
They often don't update their tracking and it could suddenly arrive.
When I did make a move, I would notify the seller. It is their problem to deal with.

This! That's why they buy insurance.

It simply means the knife is still in transit, and you will receive it in a few more days than the estimated date. Delays are not that uncommon in the USPS system.

Thanks to all for calming my nerves. It arrived yesterday.
