Need help picking an EDC

Endura 4 FFG or Full size Griptillian are both Awesome.
I think the AXIS lock is great and better than a lock back.

I think I'm gonna order the Endura this week and pick up a griptilian in a month or two

Good plan, but I would advise you to save more money before you make the Griptilian your first Benchmade, it's just not as nice as the rest of their knives. For around $100, you can find an HK 14715 (I don't think BM enforces MAP on their HK line) which is as good as Benchmade gets for a fraction of the price of their other models and get the real Benchmade experience. The flat ground D2 clip point blade is very unique and very cool. I HATE the axis lock, but can't bring myself to sell my HK 14715 - it's one of the best designed folders I've ever handled.

The axis flipper wasn't a good moment for Benchmade imo. Damn small, heavy, thick, not such a good flipper. It looks nice, I especially like the Cabela's exclusive scales. It's very strong and all too But for the money I'd pass on it and grab something better.

A Griptilian is not my favorite knife. I dislike the blade shape. I don't like the feel of the grip and I HATE hollow, cheap sound you get when you open knife.

With all of that said, if I really have some serious blade work in front of me, I reach for the Grip. It may not be perfect, but it does everything well. A true jack of all trades, master of none.

Ever real knife collector needs a Grip. The question is which one.

My sentiments exactly. Traded mine for a Volli (which I immediately de-assisted).
