I can only read a few letters and my guesses are pretty useless with how rusty I am, but I'll ask one of my parents when I see them a little later this evening and get back to you...

Yes that's correct. Just curious what the script says. :)
 
It says The Arab Army
I just checked the Wikipedia entry for Jordanian Armed Forces and it shows that as the name for the Jordanian Army
