I need a little help what do I have here?
Spyderco C52BMS in a small box with a factory lable that says experment ser micarta 10/97

that's a coveted micarta Calypso Jr. ....oops .... if it says experimental I'm not so sure....I hope the "experts" chime in...

It's a CX03 Experimental which, except for the box, is identical to the micarta version of the C52 Calypso Jr.

Keep meaning to ask Sal what the idea of the "Experimental" designations was.

There's still a site out there that has the Micarta Caly Jr. advertised, SE only though. No experimental boxes I'm sure. It's a nice knife, if it only was tip up I'd still own one!!! Like that Khalsa!

TJ-I realize this is like asking where someones favorite fishing hole is, but where are you finding all these old and rare spydercos? Have you found the 4th dimension and gone back in time to somebodys old knife shop? Gives me hope that maybe I'll run across something like that in the future. Sure has been fun to see what you come up with next.
