Need help with a Maker's Mark

Seeing that done to a poor innocent Spydie makes me want to drink an entire bottle of Makers Mark...

Is that story above true or just satirical? Hard to tell from the written word sometimes.
 
I like what they were going for on the handle scales but that acid etching is hard to look at, I agree...
 
I don't see anything wrong with correctly identifying a knife for the questioner. Especially since a Tenacious is around $40 or so new and a PM2 is $ 110 - 135 or so new. Seems like he would want to know that. But , what do I know.

I did not see anything rude either. Anyway, the Tenacious is an awesome Spydie. I'm not too keen on the etching, but that doesn't mean it's any less cool. Welcome to the Spyderco sub.
