Need help with a small chris reeve?

Looks like a fake:
Thumb stud is wrong color and too long, and not flush on the back
Tang is wrong shape
Uneven blade grind
Wrong blade finish
Wrong handle finish
Uneven beveling on handles
Blade sits too proud in closed position
Looks poorly centered
Pocket clip looks wrong
I don't think crk ever used torx screws

I guess if you take it apart it will lack a detent ball, pivot bushing and proper crk markings.
 
Thank you guys. I thought due diligence perhaps t may be an original or older one and they improved on the design after a while. I'm very curious how he acquired this one, thanks again.
 
Saw one of those last weekend at a gun show...when I picked it up,it was three times the weight of my micarta 21...
 
Nasty fake. Too bad you didn't post that one facebook, we'd be barfing all over it!
