Need Help With Chocolate Knife

Definitely the Ka-bar classic fighter. It's been issued to many a soldier over many a year. When a lot of people think "knife" they envision a ka-bar.

Here's a pic of a classic styled Ka-bar:

Yep, this is it.

I too think the kabar or bowie would be iconic choices... perhaps the Western W49 for the bowie.

Though a cocoa khukuri would be somethin'... especially the more gigantic specimens. :D

But yea, stuff that isn't too pointy like kabars and some bowies are probably good choices for the medium of chocolate. I'd LOVE an edible Fairbairn Sykes too, but more often than not it'd probably be broken before one could get it out of the packaging.

USMC KaBar, by far the most recognized knife in the military. You can find a google pic of it anywhere and buy a real one pretty easily.

Also, make a 1911 handgun. I'm not a big fan of Glocks.

+1 on both kabar and 1911.

The Ka-Bar will be the most recognisable, that should be your first run.
After that a Stirder SMF would be cool.

BTW great site! I can think of at least five people off hand who would love chocolate ammo.

I dig the "Glockolate". I would recommend something fairly sturdy for your chocolate knife- something thick enough that you could pick it up and wave around without it breaking.

The obvious choice: Smatchet!

Randall Models 1 and/or 14. Not everyone has one, but everyone wants one, or should.

classic usmc kabar with the leather stacked handle. no stupid plastic handle and no serrations

My vote would be for the camillus pilots survival knife. My dad carried one in Vietnam and I carried one while in the Army. Think a lot of people can identify with this one.

As the sign in my kitchen says, "Hand over the chocolate and nobody will get hurt."

Just so you know, this one is already taken! :D
Swiss Chocolate Knife

Now that Swiss Choc knife is cute.

I've never been a fan of USMC KaBars so am also going with the FS as a suitable and elegant decoration for someone celebrating/commemorating a person or event that's associated with the military.

It's pretty obvious from your website & domain name the niche market you're aiming at. However I'm going to be a devil's advocate and suggest you offer some sheeple friendly blade styles - like a chocolate (wedding) cake knife, or a cheese knife (wouldn't that look classy on a platter) that would have a broader 'middle of the road' appeal.

One of the purposes of forums like this should be to encourage knife ownership/carry/use as a legitimate pursuit and to keep the emphasis on knives being not only extremely useful and necessary but primarily tools. The focus on knives as weapons for killing people isn't helping our cause with the general population and only confirms in their mind that we're borderline psychopaths that should be locked up

you better make a chocolate folder that folds!

and don't insult us... better make it sharp.

put me down for 5 before easter. I need something to skin my chocolate bunny.

The problem is, there're so many knives (like guns). I noticed you have a few problems keeping your lines clean on your chocolate gun, plus filling the area behind the trigger is distracting. A chocolate S&W .357 snub-nose would be a nice alternative, maybe in dark chocolate. Or you could make them smaller, where the lines would be easier to hold.

But for a knife, I'd go with a generic Bowie, maybe patterned after Daniel Boone's (they've got replicas out there somewhere and it would provide some good historical significance). I'd also like to see the old .45 slabsides and the Beretta featured instead of that ugly plastic gun. The .45 also wouldn't give you the problem of chocolate-behind-the-trigger.
